Volleyball Recap: Timothy Christian Gets the Win

Timothy Christian won the last time they faced Wheaton Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Trojans came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Timothy Christian didn't let Wheaton Academy take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-22.

Trevor Munk paced Timothy Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Munk got some help from Owen Wise and his 18 assists. Munk was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Timothy Christian's record is now 8-3. As for Wheaton Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Timothy Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Chicago Hope Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wheaton Academy will take on rival Chicago Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
