Volleyball Game Preview: Patton Panthers vs. Draughn Wildcats

The Patton Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Draughn Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Patton comes in on seven and Draughn on eight.

Patton barely beat R-S Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hilltoppers on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Draughn got the win against East Rutherford on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20, 25-13.

Draughn's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Patton, their victory bumped their record up to 19-4.

Patton skirted past Draughn 3-2 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
