They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 42-14 victory over Bishop Shanahan. The win was just business as usual for Pope John Paul II, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.

Boyd Skarbek went supernova for Pope John Paul II, rushing for 164 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Skarbek is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Braden Reed was another key contributor, gaining 128 total yards and two touchdowns.

Pope John Paul II pushed their record up to 12-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.8 points per game. As for Bishop Shanahan, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Pope John Paul II will head out on the road to face off against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Bishop Shanahan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
