Upland scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Rancho Cucamonga, 24-6. At the time, the Cougars were ranked 15th in the state, while the Highlanders/Scots were 65th.

Alta Loma's Marcellus Hunter recorded the longest rushing play in Baseline this season in his game against Glendora last week. Hunter scampered for 88 yards on the play and finished with 140 on the day as his team lost to the Tartans.

Jayson Miles was the best wideout in the league this week as Alta Loma fell to Glendora. Miles racked up 4 receptions for 91 yards. Hunter helped Alta Loma's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 39 yards.

Upland's Tyler Hilinski and Trevor Wright led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-4 quarterback Hilinski has thrown for 2,248 yards this season, while Wright has 61 catches for 1,181 yards. Joe Szczepanski's team's Hunter leads the league in rushing yards with 1,005.

Etiwanda moved up to 112 from 141 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Baseline. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Los Osos 8-7.
