Softball Recap: West Central Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Central can now relate to. They lost 12-4 to the Tri-County Cavaliers on Tuesday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

West Central saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Kopka, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

West Central's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Tri-County, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-2.

West Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tri-County, they will challenge North Newton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
