Softball Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kent City Eagles.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Kent City, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Lakewood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 14-4 win against Olivet on the 19th. As for Kent City, they have also already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Forest Hills Eastern on the 17th.
