Football Recap: Wiggins Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wiggins extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They were dealt a 49-14 defeat at the hands of the Limon Badgers. The Tigers lost against the Badgers in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 21-12 score last time.

Despite the loss, Wiggins still got an impressive performance from Owen Erker, who rushed for 110 yards on only eight carries. Erker's longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.

As for Limon, their record now sits at 4-1. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Limon to victory were Brooks Scherrer and Camdyn Tacha. Scherrer rushed for 40 yards and two scores, while Tacha gained 101 total yards. The Badgers also got a significant boost from Jacob Jaklich, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.
