Basketball Recap: Cheraw Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Darlington, Cheraw was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They secured a 52-46 W over the Chesterfield Golden Rams. For the Braves, this counts as revenge for the 48-45 win the Golden Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Elijah McClain was a one-man wrecking crew as he shot 45% from the field on his way to 21 points and seven boards. Jabian Quick was another key player, putting up six points and nine rebounds.

The victory got Cheraw back to even at 1-1. As for Chesterfield, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
