Basketball Recap: Anchor Bay Takes a Loss

Anchor Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt an 88-53 defeat at the hands of the Sterling Heights Stallions. The Tars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stallions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

Anchor Bay's record is now 7-14. As for Sterling Heights, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-15 record this season.

Anchor Bay will be taking part in a tournament against Dakota at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Dakota knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Anchor Bay likes a good challenge. As for Sterling Heights, they will face off against Tournament Opponent on Monday.
