Basketball Recap: River Ridge Skates Past Iowa-Grant with Ease

River Ridge waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 62-18 stomp they got against the Iowa-Grant Panthers. The Timberwolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 23 points or more this season.

River Ridge's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Iowa-Grant, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Ridge will head out to square off against Barneveld at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Iowa-Grant, they will venture away from home to challenge Benton at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
