Baseball Recap: Coronado Gets the Win

Coronado's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the Harrison Panthers. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Billy Ratican was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Turner Whitney, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Coronado's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Harrison, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Coronado will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
