Football Recap: Ames Comes Up Short

Ames was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Sioux City East Black Raiders, falling 39-14. If the Little Cyclones were looking for revenge after losing 56-34 to the Black Raiders when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ames' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Sioux City East, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

As of now, neither Ames nor the Black Raiders have any future games scheduled.
