Lapel came tearing into Friday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Shenandoah Raiders with a sharp 62-37 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 25 points or more this season.

Lapel got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bode Judge out in front who en route to 21 points. Judge's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Brode B Judge, who to rack up 15 points and five boards.

Shenandoah's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cannon Case, who posted seven points and four blocks. Those four blocks gave Case a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Karter Gray, who scored six points.

Lapel pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points over those games. As for Shenandoah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.

Lapel has already played their next contest, a 73-62 victory against Winchester Community on the 18th. As for Shenandoah, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-45 win against Randolph Southern on the 15th.
