Baseball Recap: Silver Creek Takes a Loss

Silver Creek fell victim to Evergreen Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost six in a row.

Silver Creek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Jenkins, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Silver Creek's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Evergreen Valley, they pushed their record up to 7-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Silver Creek will head out on the road to face off against Harker at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Evergreen Valley, they will welcome Overfelt at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
