Baseball Recap: Hurley Tigers vs. Verona Wildcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Exeter, Hurley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 11-3 margin over the Verona Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hurley also won the last time the pair played back in April.
For Verona's part, Noah Freiburger made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Hurley's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Verona, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-18.
