North Miami has gone 8-2 against Caston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Comets at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

North Miami is headed out to face Caston after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Warriors came out on top against Manchester by a score of 17-13 on Wednesday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Squires recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Caston got themselves on the board against Oregon-Davis on Tuesday, but Oregon-Davis never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Bobcats.

Mia Mersch was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Myli Rude, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Alex Mersch was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs.

Caston kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.

North Miami got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Caston by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
