Baseball Recap: Daleville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wes-Del on Thursday, Daleville came back down to earth. The Broncos came up short against the Yorktown Tigers on Friday, falling 19-0. The Broncos haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Daleville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for Yorktown, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Looking ahead, Daleville is taking a road trip to square off against Cowan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos are facing the Blackhawks at the right time seeing as the Blackhawks are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Yorktown, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Delta on the 17th.
