Basketball Game Preview: Coral Gables Cavaliers vs. Lourdes Academy

Coral Gables hasn't had much luck against Lourdes Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Coral Gables will have to contain Sophia Sandoval as she made an impact in Lourdes Academy's last game. She posted 24 points. That was a full 54.5% of Lourdes Academy's points, marking the 16th time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. Valeria Port was another key player, putting up six points.

Lourdes Academy now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Coral Gables, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Coral Gables might still be hurting after the 59-35 defeat they got from Lourdes Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024.
