Basketball Recap: Concord Academy Triumphs

Concord Academy lost to Combine Academy National back in November of 2021, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Eagles came out on top against the Goats by a score of 72-62. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Romain Boyer was nothing short of spectacular: he shot 60% from beyond the arc en route to 33 points and three steals. Those 33 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jonas Agyeman, who posted 11 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Concord Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Combine Academy National, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Concord Academy has already played their next game, an 80-37 victory against Cannon on the 11th. Combine Academy National has also already played their next matchup (against Parris Prep Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
