Central of Clay County got themselves on the board against Holtville on Friday, but Holtville never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bulldogs 42-0. The result was nothing new for the Volunteers, who have now won four contests by 23 points or more so far this season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Central of Clay County, bringing their record up to 7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.8 points over those games. As for Holtville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
