Southeast of Saline skates past Lyons with ease

Recap: Southeast of Saline Trojans vs. Lyons Lions
After losing to the Lyons Lions the last time they met, the Southeast of Saline Trojans decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Southeast of Saline claimed a resounding 54-21 win over Lyons at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Southeast of Saline.
Southeast of Saline had a senior duo take command as Brenton Leeds scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five steals and Daniel Kejr scored nine points along with six steals and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gannon Jacobson, who scored four points along with three steals.
The win got Southeast of Saline back to even at 4-4. As for Lyons, they bumped their record down to 3-6 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Southeast of Saline will be playing in front of their home fans against Republic County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Republic County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 281st, while Southeast of Saline is ranked 107th). Lyons won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Smoky Valley on January 19th. Hopefully Smoky Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on January 2nd.
