St. Joseph won the last time they faced McMahon and things went their way on Monday too. The Cadets were the clear victors by a 20-1 margin over the Senators. Considering the Cadets have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Katie Dzialo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, St. Joseph let Molly Kery and Makena Hawkins run wild.
