Basketball Recap: Tularosa Comes Up Short

Tularosa was the 51-49 winner over New Mexico Military Institute when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Tularosa Wildcats fell 63-54 to the New Mexico Military Institute Colts on Tuesday.

Tularosa's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 19-6. As for New Mexico Military Institute, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-11.

Looking ahead, Tularosa will take on Ruidoso at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for New Mexico Military Institute, they will challenge Dexter at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. New Mexico Military Institute is facing Dexter at the right time seeing as Dexter is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
