Softball Game Preview: Merrillville Pirates vs. Portage Indians

Merrillville is on a five-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Portage a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Merrillville Pirates will welcome the Portage Indians at 4:30 p.m. Merrillville has given up an average of 16.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Merrillville lost 21-3 to Hobart on Monday.

Portage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Merrillville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.
