Volleyball Recap: Harlan Comes Up Short

Harlan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Treynor Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cyclones of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Harlan's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Treynor, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Harlan has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Red Oak on the 20th. As for Treynor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Glenwood on the 20th.
