Aiden McWhinney posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Richmond's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 6-7 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, McWhinney and Richmond will face off against Pendleton Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
