While University School put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for North. The Preppers blew past the Rangers 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Preppers, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

James Bucci was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Greer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

University School hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in 13 consecutive contests.

University School is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University School will host Mayfield at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mentor at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rangers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
