Baseball Recap: Midway Takes a Loss

Midway lost against Greenback on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Green Wave fell 4-1 to the Cherokees.

Midway has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-20-1 record this season. As for Greenback, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

Midway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greenback, they have already played their next contest, a 10-2 loss against Coalfield on the 10th.
