Pinson Valley's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils as they made off with a 16-8 victory. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Blue Devils back in February, they had to take a 8-0 loss.

Adam Taylor looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Juan Martinez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in February. Another player making a difference was Tyler Holifield, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5.

Pinson Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .617. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Pinson Valley's win bumped their record up to 11-21. As for Mortimer Jordan, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-16.
