Baseball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Timberlake Tigers, falling 19-6. The Rams have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Luke Reedy was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Timberlake, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Riverside and Timberlake will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Rams will face off against rival Lakeside at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Timberlake is set to square off against their familiar foe Bonners Ferry at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
