Volleyball Preview: Ashland Clockers vs. Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers        
        
		
             The Ashland Clockers will challenge the Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Friday,  it was close, but  Ashland sidestepped Holliston for  a  3-2 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Clockers.
 Ashland got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 31-29, 23-25, 25-15,  15-5.
  Quinn Herter was a one-man wrecking crew for Ashland as she  had 25  digs.
 Ashland  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 15  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 19 consecutive  matchups  dating back to last season.
 Meanwhile, Blackstone Valley RVT had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp  3-0 victory.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20,  25-10.
 Blackstone Valley RVT can attribute much of their success to  Paige Connolly, who  had four  aces and three  digs. Connolly is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in the last three games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Ashland has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record  this season. As for Blackstone Valley RVT, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Tuesday's  contest:  Ashland has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 11.9  aces per game.
