It was a good run, but Clay unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Bartram Trail Bears and fell 65-33. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 553rd, while the Bears are ranked 209th).

It was another big night for Landon Geren, who went 9 of 10 en route to 25 points for Bartram Trail. Jaxon Williamson was another key player, putting up seven points and seven assists.

Clay's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Bartram Trail, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Clay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 79-59 loss against Fleming Island on the 30th. As for Bartram Trail, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-36 win against First Coast on the 30th.
