After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crespi, Bishop Alemany was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Paraclete Spirits, sneaking past 6-4. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Franky Maga?a looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in 12 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bishop Alemany's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Alvarez, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Chase Stevenson was another, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Bishop Alemany's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Paraclete, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Alemany will welcome Simi Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Paraclete, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Highland at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
