Unity Reed extends home winning streak to four

Recap: Unity Reed Lions vs. Osbourn Eagles
The Unity Reed Lions's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top against Osbourn by a score of 58-49. This was payback for Unity Reed, who suffered a 69-52 loss the last time these two teams met.
Unity Reed was led to victory by Julian Shahateet and Charles Pargo. Shahateet dropped a double-double on 21 points and 18 rebounds, while Pargo dropped a double-double on 22 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Shahateet has scored at least 25% of Unity Reed's points. Malachi Davis was another key contributor, scoring 3 points along with 3 steals.
Unity Reed's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 1-4. As for Osbourn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Unity Reed will stay at home for another game and welcome Rock Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th. Rock Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Unity Reed likes a good challenge. As for Osbourn, they will be playing at home against Patriot at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
