Glenn had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-22 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the Dearborn Pioneers 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rockets have posted since May 15, 2024.

As for Dearborn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. Pioneers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Glenn since on Saturday.

For Dearborn's part, Ayman Abadi was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Lansang, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Glenn and Dearborn could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Rockets will take on Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (494 vs. 45). Meanwhile, Dearborn (ranked 352nd) will meet Churchill (ranked 57th) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
