Basketball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monroe was the 52-40 winner over East Troy when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Monroe Cheesemakers were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 55-54 to the East Troy Trojans.

Monroe's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. As for East Troy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-14.

As of now, neither Monroe nor East Troy have any future games scheduled.
