Volleyball Recap: Burbank Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Burbank can now relate to. They came up short against the Ripon Christian Knights on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 25-12.

Burbank has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Ripon Christian, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-9.

Burbank does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ripon Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beyer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
