After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Iredell, Forbush was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Wilkes Central Eagles a 12-0 shutout. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Dylan McClamrock was a standout: he scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Aaron Hutchens was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Forbush was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .478. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Forbush's record is now 11-7. As for Wilkes Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Forbush will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
