North Henderson posted their biggest victory since January 3rd on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Smoky Mountain Mustangs as the North Henderson Knights made off with a 57-37 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-60 two weeks ago.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Henderson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Titus Moore, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Moore is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Brayden Hudson was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 11 points and six boards.

When it comes to explaining why Smoky Mountain lost, don't look at Custer Prenger. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Prenger has become a key player for Smoky Mountain: the team is 9-4 when he posts at least ten boards, but 1-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Lane Plemmons, who posted nine points.

North Henderson's record now sits at 13-10. As for Smoky Mountain, they dropped their record down to 10-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, North Henderson will square off against Pisgah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pisgah knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully North Henderson likes a good challenge. As for Smoky Mountain, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-46 victory against Tuscola on the 7th.
