Softball Preview: Millard Eagles vs. Beaver Beavers        
        
		
            
 Millard is 2-8 against Beaver since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Millard Eagles will look to defend their home field  against the Beaver Beavers at 3:30  p.m. One thing working in Millard's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last three games.
 On Friday, Millard made easy work of Water Canyon  and carried off  a  19-2 win.
  Macie Wade made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Wade has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Wade was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Kadi Dearden was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, three  runs,  and four  RBI while going 3-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to  hits, as she's  now  hit three or more in the last three games she's  played.  Jansie Chlarson was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Beaver came up short against South Sevier on Friday and fell  6-2. Beaver has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Millard's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 5-10. As for Beaver, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
