Baseball Recap: Seaforth Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Seaforth proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Williams Bulldogs 4-3. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Seaforth pushed their record up to 8-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Williams, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Seaforth will venture away from home to challenge Southeast Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Stallions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Williams, they will welcome Carrboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jaguars have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
