Soccer Game Preview: Willowbrook vs. Larkin

The Willowbrook Warriors will take on the Larkin Royals at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Willowbrook is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering West Chicago just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Larkin kept a clean sheet against Ridgewood on Wednesday. They beat the Rebels by a goal, winning 1-0. Brinlee Jimenez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Larkin.

Larkin's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-20. As for Willowbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-1.
