After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cedarburg, West Bend East was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Homestead Highlanders as they made off with an 8-2 victory. The Suns' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Homestead, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

West Bend East has already played their next matchup (against Slinger), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Homestead, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-7 defeat against Hartford on the 15th.
