Volleyball Recap: Deer Valley Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

Deer Valley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the North Mustangs 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-21.

Deer Valley can attribute much of their success to Oscar Morales-Hernandez, who had ten digs and one assist.

Deer Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive contests.

Deer Valley pushed their record up to 21-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

As for North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against McClintock on the 23rd.
