Soccer Recap: Willow Glen Takes a Loss

Willow Glen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Leigh Longhorns, falling 4-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Rams were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Jason Gonzalez, who's now up to two this season.

Willow Glen's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Leigh, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1-1.

Willow Glen will host Westmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Westmont will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Willow Glen surely won't give up without a fight. As for Leigh, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Christopher at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Leigh is facing Christopher at the right time seeing as Christopher is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
