Football Recap: Carolina Academy Takes a Loss

If Carolina Academy was riding high fresh off their 41-18 takedown of St. John's Christian Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats took a 44-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Carolina Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Pee Dee Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carolina Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Williamsburg Academy at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. The Stallions' defense has only allowed 12.4 points per game this season, so the Bobcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pee Dee Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lee Academy at 7:30 p.m.
