Basketball Recap: Osage Piles Up the Points Against St. Elizabeth

Osage won the last time they faced St. Elizabeth and things went their way on Saturday too. The Indians breezed past the Hornets to the tune of 64-34.

St. Elizabeth's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brayden Kempker, who posted 12 points. Kempker is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 44% in the last three games he's played. Kyson Green was another key player, putting up ten points.

The victory got Osage back to even at 1-1. As for St. Elizabeth, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osage will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bolivar at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2026. As for St. Elizabeth, they will face off against Crocker at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
