Softball Recap: Lowell Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lowell can now relate to. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hanover Central Wildcats on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Red Devils couldn't push the score so high this time.

With the loss, Lowell broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-6. As for Hanover Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-12.

Lowell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hanover Central, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Highland on the 3rd.
