Soccer Game Preview: Sunset vs. Coral Park

The Sunset Knights and the Coral Park Rams will compete for holiday cheer at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunset's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Monday, Sunset might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Ferguson an easy 7-1 win. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 528th, while the Falcons are ranked 98th).

Sunset's goal came courtesy of Milainy LLopiz, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Coral Park scored the most goals they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 7-3 to Braddock. The result was nothing new for the Rams as the squad has yet to pick up a win this season.

Coral Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-2. As for Sunset, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1.
