Flatirons Academy's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 37-26. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Peyten Reese, who posted ten points and four steals. Reese is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 13 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Brynnli Bryson, who earned eight points.

Flatirons Academy's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Flatirons Academy will host Cheraw at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Flatirons Academy's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so Cheraw's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they will challenge Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
